Gales of passion whip the air apart,
Bodies twist and tumble, torn by heart,
Lovers locked in endless, howling flight,
Swept forever through the blackest night.

No rest, no mercy from the storm they made,
Desire’s fury turns the price they paid,
Winds that once caressed now scream their name,
Forever caught inside the carnal flame.

Blown and broken, never finding peace,
Lust’s own whirlwind grants no sweet release,
Echoes rise from flesh that would not yield,
In this realm where tempests are revealed.

Where tempests are revealed.

Cries of ecstasy become a roar,
Entwined forever, drifting evermore,
The gale that once felt warm now cuts like knives,
Punishing the hunger of their lives.

Blown and broken, never finding rest,
Lust’s own whirlwind claims what they loved best,
Echoes rise from passions turned to chains,
In this realm where reason still remains.

Where reason still remains.

Pairs of shadows spin in frantic dance,
No control, no ending to the trance,
The storm remembers every stolen kiss,
And pays it back with cold, eternal bliss.

Blown and broken, never finding calm,
Lust’s own whirlwind sings its final psalm,
Echoes rise from hearts that lost control,
In this realm where desire takes its toll.

Oh, where desire takes its toll.
Yeah, where desire takes its toll.
Where desire takes its toll.
