Black swamp bubbles with the rage below,
Fists and teeth and curses steal the show,
Sullen souls lie choking under mud,
Wrath consumes them in its bitter flood.

They tear at one another, never cease,
The anger that once burned now brings no peace,
Bubbles rise like accusations thrown,
Trapped forever in the mire they’ve sown.

Sunk in fury, never seeing sky,
Wrath’s own swamp will never let them die,
Echoes rise from throats that only scream,
In this realm where hatred reigns supreme.

Where hatred reigns supreme.

Some fight above the sludge with blinding hate,
Others sink and bubble out their fate,
No light, no calm, just endless, choking fight,
The wrath they nursed now owns the endless night.

Sunk in fury, never seeing sky,
Wrath’s own swamp will never let them die,
Echoes rise from hearts that turned to stone,
In this realm where mercy is unknown.

Where mercy is unknown.

The mire claims them inch by angry inch,
Every grudge becomes a deeper trench,
They drown in what they chose to feel each day,
Forever furious, forever gray.

Sunk in fury, never seeing sky,
Wrath’s own swamp will never let them die,
Echoes rise from souls consumed by ire,
In this realm where anger is the fire.

Where anger is the fire.
