Salt And Shame

From the depths where the shadows devour,
A gleam rises, forged in the sea's cruel fire,
Whispers of fortune, a siren's dark lure,
Innocence shatters on ambition's pyre.

The tide turns savage, trackers in the night,
Blood on the sands, echoes of the chase,
Dreams twist to venom, devouring the light,
What was salvation now a venomous embrace.

Oh, the pearl's curse, it poisons the vein,
Greed's iron grip, chains the soul in pain,
From humble hearth to hell's raging flame,
We chase the glow, but it claims our name.

Hopes of the future, carved in stone and scroll,
Turn to ashes under vulture's wing,
The gift that promised to make broken whole,
Unleashes furies, death's merciless sting.

Oh, the pearl's wrath, it devours the dream,
Greed's shadowed blade, rips the world at the seam,
From whispered prayers to a blood-soaked scream,
We grasp the fire, and it burns the scheme.

Back to the silence, where the waves reclaim,
The hollow victory, wisdom etched in scar,
No throne of gold, just the salt and shame,
The sea's cold lesson: all that glitters mars.

Oh, the pearl's lie, it crushes the fight,
Greed's endless hunger, swallows wrong and right,
From fragile hope to eternal night,
We throw it back, to the abyss's bite.

Back to the silence, where the waves reclaim,
No throne of gold, just the salt and shame.
